In addition to their uniqueness and beauty, marble pavers are excellent options due to:
Skid Resistance
Marble has a tumbled finish, which makes it less slippery. This is ideal for outdoor use, particularly near pools, fountains, ponds, or walkways.
Naturally Cool
Marble naturally stays cool to the touch, even on hot South Florida days. This is ideal if you plan to walk barefoot or use the pavers in a high-traffic area.
Durability
Marble is a dense material, which means it can hold up to a lot of weight and use. It is also an option for driveways because it won’t break or crack under the weight of vehicles.
Low Maintenance
Marble is also a low maintenance material. You do not have to seal marble, and it is resistant to moisture and mold.
No two stones are the same
Experience the uniqueness of marble pavers as each piece is truly one-of-a-kind and will possess its own natural flair.
Marble is a natural stone so you know you are getting something truly unique. When choosing the right marble for your outdoor space, consider important factors like outdoor inspiration, themes, and more.
Also, consider your color scheme and where the tile is going. If you are planning to use marble in your driveway, you may opt for a darker color or a pattern with more vibrancy to hide any leaks or oil drips. Near a pool or fountain, lighter color marble pavers can add a show-stopping elegance and historical feel that will draw you in.
Whether this is your first or second pavers project in South Florida, you may have several questions about the process and what to expect. Our team crafted the following timeline to help you prepare for your upcoming outdoor living project.
Proposal
This is an atmosphere of collaboration where we will take the time to discuss your vision for the project, timelines, and budgets.
Pre-Project Preparation
This phase is where the fun begins. We’ll remove anything from the project area like furniture and landscape beds.
Laying the groundwork
In our next step, we’ll start laying the groundwork for your new surfaces. If necessary we’ll remove any concrete and start excavating. This is where we will remove or add dirt to the area. We will also apply a base or sub-base of soil or sand on the ground in order to compact and level things out wherever necessary.
Procuring materials
Here is where we will ensure that all of your materials are ready to go so we can begin installing your new pavers.
Setting your pavers
Once we have the materials, we’ll start laying your materials in the design and style you've chosen for your project. We’ll be focusing on laying the paving materials that don't require alterations.
Complex paver settings
Next, our experts will make any custom cuts and adjustments to your pavers for any tricky areas such as corners.
Initial Quality Control Inspection
Our team will finalize all of the placement requirements for your project, ensuring that every piece is set with the appropriate amount of pressure and proper placement.
Custom Adjustments
Our team will ensure any custom elements like planter boxes or steps are installed as per your project.
Set the seal
After all the pavers are installed, we will secure your pavers with an application mix of sand and mud in the creases and edges.
Second Quality Control Inspection
In this step, a member of our management team will walk through your property and ensure that everything has been executed according to plan.
Cleaning & maintenance
The initial construction stage has come to an end, and we will remove all tools and trash used during the project and clean your pavers. If you purchased a clean & seal, we will apply a sealant to ensure they are protected against the Florida heat and other elements.
Customer Inspection
Our last step will be to close out your project after we've ensured that you are delighted with your new pavers!
